Campaign Killing Adwords Mistakes

Google Adwords is a direct marketing tool to reckon with. Basically, it enables you to instantly attract traffic to your site using a select number of keywords. The quality of traffic you can get through Adwords using the right keywords can’t be underestimated, as you will get laser targeted visitors when you do things right. Furthermore, conversion rates can be increased with the use of Google’s geographical targeting tool which allows you to target any country, state, and even city anywhere in the world. Without a little experience and some specialized knowledge you can make costly errors and waste a lot of time with campaigns that don’t bring in much revenue. Here are three common mistakes that can sink your attempts at an Adwords campaign. Read on. For example, let’s say that you need to write articles about best rhinoplasty surgeon that you want to publish on any site, wouldn’t it save you time if you could write your content fast and easy?

1) Failing To Fully Research Your Market Niche

The easiest way I can say this is: Broad keywords will not help you make any money, but instead will keep you from making money and won’t give you the results you want. So focusing on broad keywords is counterproductive. Let’s take the keyword example – “hospital”. Generally, people using broad terms like “medical” or “hospital” during a web search are looking for information or fishing for ideas, and aren’t really all that interested in buying. As a rule, such all inclusive searches are based on curiosity rather than need. If you want to get good results, you need to narrow your keywords down so that they relate specifically to what you are trying to sell. With common, broad keywords, most of the people who visit your site will not really be interested in whatever it is that you are offering. The keyword “hospital,” to use our former example, produces 78,400,000 results in Google, but the narrower term “find a hospital” only has 249,000 results. This simply means that the narrower term not only has less competition but also a purpose. People using narrow search terms have an agenda in mind and know exactly what they are searching for. Just put yourself in your customer’s shoes and you will know how they think.

2. You didn’t track the keywords you used.

Adwords offers tools that may assist you in picking out the keywords that are right for your purposes. The use of the correct, focused keywords in your work is an absolute must if you want Adwords to work for you. Remember that Google specializes in relevant results, not just in their search engine, but everywhere they have a presence. People are searching for specific topics. If your advertisement is significantly and organically tied to their keyword, your campaign will be triumphant. Google rewards relevancy and that’s what you need to aim for. When choosing keywords for your ad, take advantage of Google’s keyword tool and fine tune your keywords. Find keywords that have to do with your niche and also make sure to include them in your landing page. Want to increase conversions? The more specific and tuned in your targeted keywords are, the more often a window shopper will become a buyer. For instance, let’s say that you’re writing an article about home weather station for any site, you should start off with the article and later write the introduction.

3. Not Staying Focused On Your Landing Page

It is not unusual for new Adwords users to get overexcited and jump the gun without weighing the consequences of their actions. They simply look at the numbers in their market, realize it has a lot of potential, and believe they will be able to have 10,000 visitors in the first month, resulting in tons of profits. However, the problem that comes up with this is that they don’t think about the conversion. It doesn’t matter how much traffic one gets if it doesn’t convert. In order to do this, you have to start off with small traffic and then grow as you see the conversions growing. This is the only way to ramp up your profits to the maximum with Adwords. So whether you want to write content for any website or write about home weather station, creating content faster is definitely a bliss!
